Description
Back to topAlgebraic statistics is concerned with statistical models that can be described by polynomials. The zero sets of these polynomials are interesting objects in algebraic geometry. This is a hands-on workshop aimed at graduate students and beginning postdocs interested in this area. Participants will be grouped into teams, and each team will get started on a research paper, intended for publication in the journal Algebraic Statistics. This intense experience is guided by three experienced mentors.
Application deadline: April 30, 2023
